Protein Before Workouts Burns More Fat in Women

For the last 30 years I’ve been trying to read a few articles a week from The Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport.  I think it has the best, most accurate info from unbiased testing on a huge array of topics in sports and fitness.Most of the time their findings and recommendations are pretty similar in men and women.  In the article I read today, I discovered some great news for women!  In the study, they found that women who had a high protein meal 45 minutes to an hour before their workout can burn an additional 15 pounds of fat per year, compared to the control group.  

The study, published in the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport  in 2019 showed that women who ate a high-protein meal an hour before their workout burned more calories per minute than women who ate a low-protein meal or no food. The additional calories burned was around 185 over the following 24 hours.  

This could amount to 15 pounds additional weight loss over a year, if every else is the same. Very interesting!  Lucky girls!  I guess you might want an egg white omelette or a protein shake before your workout.  These benefits were also found to be better than the group who had a high protein meal or shake right after the workout as well!If you want to read the entire study, I have included the link at the end of this article.Work hard, have fun and remember, that Nanohydr8 before any workout will make it more effective and help you push harder!
